On the afternoon of November 21, at the ceremony commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Vietnam Nut Association (VINACAS 1990 - 2025), Mr. Phạm Văn Công, President of VINACAS, stated that over the past two decades, Vietnam has become the center of the global nut industry, being the largest importer of raw nuts and the largest exporter of processed nuts in the world. The Vietnamese nut industry has achieved miracles from nothing to something, from weak to strong, from exporting small quantities of raw nut kernels to becoming the world's leading exporter of processed nuts with 80% of the global export volume; simultaneously consuming nearly 70% of the global export volume of raw nuts; transitioning from complete dependence on equipment and processing technology to mastering and exporting nut processing equipment and technology to the world.
