The Institute for the Promotion of Argentine Beef (IPCVA) expressed its satisfaction with the increase in the export quota of Argentine beef to the United States, within the framework of the trade agreement signed this Thursday, considering that the measure strengthens the competition between international markets and encourages the growth of the sector. Through an official statement, the president of the IPCVA, Georges Breitschmitt, stated: “We have received with great joy the announcement by the Government of the trade agreement with the United States, especially regarding the increase in the quota of Argentine beef to that destination.” According to the head of the Institute, the expansion of the quota represents a strategic opportunity for the country: “This great news generates better competition between markets for us, challenges us to integrate more as a chain, and confirms that we need to work to increase productivity and meet the growing global demand for protein.” ...
