The plenary of the Joint Committee on Fruit and Vegetables Spain-France-Italy-Portugal met this Thursday in Madrid to analyze the situation of the different subsectors and the proposals for the next CAP 2028-2034. The annual meeting, held within the framework of Fruit Attraction, was attended by representatives of the ministries responsible for agriculture of the four countries and professionals from the main horticultural subsectors. The meeting began with the traditional review of the issues addressed within the framework of the specific product contact groups (tomato, strawberry, garlic, peach and nectarine, apple and pear, citrus, table grapes, IV range and plant protection products). These contact groups were convened at the initiative of the professionals of the four countries during the first half of 2025 and have allowed for the exchange of useful information, as well as sharing common concerns in the search for solutions for all.
