The Korea Federation of SMEs met with Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Song Mei-ryeong to discuss the challenges faced by SMEs in agriculture and food, and to suggest policy support measures. The SMEs proposed 11 solutions, including improving the import system for major raw materials, requesting a budget for electric agricultural machinery distribution, and expanding drainage treatment facilities. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs stated that it will reflect the feedback received in its policies and continue to support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in agriculture and food.
