Ukraine has significantly expanded its sugar export reach, now delivering to over 30 countries, excluding EU nations. The country has notably increased its exports to Cameroon by 20%, making it the leading importer of Ukrainian sugar. Other countries like Lebanon, Libya, Israel, and Turkey also show a strong demand for Ukrainian sugar, with shipments to Sri Lanka and China indicating the product's global reach. Calculations suggest that Ukraine has the potential to export an additional 100,000 tons in the summer, subject to discussions with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy about raising the export quota.
