Exports of dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, and figs from Turkey saw an increase of 11% in the 2021/22 season, reaching $1.15 billion compared to $914 million in the previous season. Seedless raisins were the leading export with $408 million, followed by dried apricots bringing in $375 million, and dried figs $232 million. The main importers were England, Germany, and the Netherlands. Mehmet Ali Işık, President of the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association, expressed optimism for the 2022/23 season, expecting a 10-15% increase in exports, amounting to $1.25 billion.
