Spain: MAP includes several agricultural species in the Register of Commercial Varieties

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has included in the Register of Commercial Varieties various varieties of species of lemon, mandarin, melon, orange, sugar beet and soft wheat, while it has approved the change and the cancellation of others. The varieties included in the registry are the Santa Teresa, Vakalou and Villafranca lemon trees; that of mandarin clementino Andes 1; those of hybrid mandarin Daisy, Karalate LS, Leanri, Matiz and Shiranui Dekopon; that of mandarin tangor IRM2; those of peach trees Alisio 25, Bora 20 and Levante 45 and that of melon UBM 1628.
