The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) in Spain has added several varieties of lemon, mandarin, melon, orange, sugar beet, and soft wheat to the Register of Commercial Varieties. These include Santa Teresa, Vakalou, Villafranca lemon trees; Clementino Andes 1, Daisy, Karalate LS, Leanri, Matiz, Shiranui Dekopon, and tangor IRM2 mandarin varieties; Alisio 25, Bora 20, and Levante 45 peach tree varieties; UBM 1628 melon variety; Berna, Maltese orange; BTS 6975 N sugar beet; and Ecodesal soft wheat. MAPA has also recognized the CRAM synonymy for the Washington Navel orange variety and cancelled the orange variety 11960008 CRAM.
