The Dongfang City Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Hainan Province has issued a notice regarding the sale of substandard duck eggs by Dongshun Fei egg stalls. An inspection on August 19, 2021, revealed that the florfenicol project in the duck eggs, operated by the store, did not comply with the national safety standard. The unqualified batch of duck eggs had been sold out by the time of a follow-up inspection on September 22, 2021. The bureau has ordered the stall to cease selling and using the unqualified eggs, seal the problem products, and recall the batch that had been sold.
