The Taibilla Canals Consortium (MCT) communicated this Thursday to the municipalities of Cartagena, Torre Pacheco, and La Unión the necessity for their municipal services and managing companies to adopt the necessary measures to reduce water consumption in their municipalities while full normality is not restored in the New Cartagena Canal, affected by water and mud infiltrations caused by the DANA, and whose flows are temporarily partially interrupted in the section damaged by the storm. This situation prevents these municipalities from being able to count on the contributions of potable water that they usually receive through this infrastructure.
