Egypt: The Ministers of Supply and Agriculture discuss setting indicative prices for strategic crops

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, discussed setting indicative prices for purchasing crops: wheat, sugar beets, and sugar cane from farmers for the new season. This came during the meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in New Alamein, to discuss a number of joint cooperation files, in the presence of a number of leaders of the two ministries. The Minister of Supply confirmed that the current period is witnessing full cooperation and coordination between the Ministries of Supply and Agriculture in all issues related to achieving food security, as well as supporting farmers and increasing their incomes.
