Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly released the "China Fisheries Ecological Environment Status Bulletin (2024)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Bulletin"), announcing the ecological environment monitoring results for 18 indicators, including water quality, sediment, and plankton, in China's fishery waters for 2024. The Bulletin shows that the overall ecological environment status of China's fishery waters in 2024 remained stable, showing a steady improvement trend over the past five years, with the risk of nitrogen and phosphorus indicators exceeding standards still present.
