Spain: The Ministry of Agriculture grants official recognition to the Interprofessional Organization of Avocado and Mango

The organization was established in November 2022 to represent and defend the interests of the avocado and mango sectors throughout Spain. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has granted official recognition as an interprofessional agri-food organization to the Interprofessional Organization of Avocado and Mango, created in November 2022 to represent the interests of these sectors in Spain. The corresponding ministerial order has been published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on November 28, 2023. The Interprofessional Avocado and Mango Organization was established to represent and defend the common interests of production and marketing and brings together all the actors in the value chain.
