The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has put forward for public discussion a draft that sets new threshold prices for grain for the implementation of state interventions in the upcoming agricultural year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. According to the draft order of the agricultural department, posted on the website regulation.gov.ru, it is proposed to lower the threshold prices for wheat, increase them for rye, and keep them at the current season's level for barley. The draft order has already been agreed upon with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, reports NTERFAX. Thus, according to the document, for wheat of the 3rd class, the minimum price at which the state will start purchase interventions is proposed at the level of 14,630 rubles per ton with VAT. This is 220 rubles lower than in the current agricultural year.
