The most sugar beet-producing province in Spain is left without a processing plant

After Azucarera's announcement to close its plant in La Bañeza (León) and leave the Toro facilities (Zamora) as the only processing plant in Castilla y León, many political groups have been perplexed, considering that León province is the largest sugar beet producer.
