The Municipality of Nueve de Julio has launched a call for producers to plant on the verges of Provincial Route No. 65 within the framework established by Provincial Law 10,342 and Municipal Ordinance 2882/1991. Priority will be given first to owners or tenants facing the land and then to public welfare entities, with special consideration to school cooperatives of rural or agrarian schools. In the event of no interested parties, calls for competition or tender will be made. A central aspect of the program is the social destination of the funds collected. According to current regulations, 60% of what is collected must be allocated to the School Council of the party to invest in infrastructure, equipment, and operation, while another 20% is destined for Volunteer Fire Brigade Associations or public welfare entities of the district, and the remaining 20% for the maintenance of the municipal road network.
