The Dobrudja wine festival will take place on February 21 and 22 in the village of Kaynardzha in Silistra. The attractive event will feature community groups presenting local winemakers, wineries, wine cellars, and individual participants from various parts of Northeastern Bulgaria – the regions of Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Shumen, Razgrad, Ruse, and Romanian Dobrudja, who will showcase wines from the region as well as delicious homemade Dobrudja wine. The deadline for participant registration is February 13. "The idea is for the festival to be held every year in different places in Dobrudja to promote not only the wine but also the local destination as a tourism opportunity.
