The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Sara Aagesen, chaired this Thursday the National Water Council (CNA), the top consultation and participation body in the field made up of representatives from the General State Administration, autonomous communities, river basin authorities, local entities, users such as irrigators, and various organizations and individual experts. During her speech, the Minister and President of the CNA highlighted the "great effort in the development of the hydrological planning of the third cycle," which will involve an investment of over 23 billion euros until 2027, and emphasized Spain's experience in drought management, which has become "a European benchmark."
