The National Bank of Ukraine provided a forecast for the 2025 harvest and the preliminary estimates turned out to be optimistic.

Despite adverse weather conditions, this year's harvest in Ukraine will be higher than last year, and in 2026–2027, the volumes of agricultural production will also increase, primarily due to corn. This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine. The regulator revised the estimate of the grain and legume crop for this year from 57.9 million tons to 61.5 million tons. The forecast for oilseeds, however, has slightly worsened compared to July—from 21 million tons to 19.3 million tons. The higher grain harvest compared to last year will curb the further rise in prices of flour and processed food products. The affordable price of feed crops, in turn, will prevent meat prices from rising. The best harvests of fruit and berry crops are also expected, in the absence of force majeure weather events.
