The Tver region in Russia has surpassed its export target for agricultural products by 116%, reaching $33 million in 2021 as part of the regional project 'Export of agricultural products'. The region plans to focus on dairy and beef cattle breeding, crop production, especially flax, and supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the next five years. The main exports are from the food and processing industry, oil and fat industry, and meat and dairy products. 32% of these products are exported to non-CIS countries, while the rest are to CIS countries. In 2021, exports to China, Uzbekistan, and Lithuania saw a significant increase.
