[Korea Farmers News Agency Reporter Du-hyun Lee] The Korea Food & Agri Products Circulation Research Institute supported the transfer of Korea's agricultural product quarantine technology to officials in Uzbekistan related to quarantine. The research institute recently held an invitation-only training session for mid-level officials from the Uzbekistan Plant Protection and Quarantine Service on the topic of "Acquiring practical know-how through advanced plant quarantine technology and equipment practice." This training is part of the "Strengthening Uzbekistan Plant Quarantine Administration and Improving Plant Quarantine Stations" project, a development cooperation project of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The training was conducted for seven Uzbekistan officials. The research institute acted as the "Project Management and Implementation Agency (PMC)" for this project.
