The Nonghyup Daegu Head Office (Head Office Director Jeon Kyung-soo) visited a local welfare center in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, last month to carry out the "Nongsimcheonsim Love Rice" sharing initiative. With the year-end and New Year holidays approaching, this event was organized to support the elderly and vulnerable populations in the Dalseo-gu area of Daegu. The Daegu Nonghyup delivered 1,500 kg of local rice to the welfare center. The rice delivered this time will be used for meals and as gifts for the vulnerable through the welfare centers in Dalseo-gu, including Sangin Welfare Center, Wolbae Elderly Welfare Center, Haksan Welfare Center, Wolseong Welfare Center, and the Dalseo branch of the Physically Disabled Association. Director Jeon Kyung-soo said, "To help the marginalized and difficult neighbors and to contribute to the expansion of local rice sales."
