The North Caucasus ranked second in Russia by the number of agro-classes.

One of the directions of the national project has become the creation of agro-technological classes in schools, where students in grades 7-11 study subjects of the agrarian profile in depth, as well as get acquainted with the work of agribusiness enterprises. By 2030, the country plans to create around 18,000 specially equipped agro-classes. RBC Rostov found out how agro-classes are created and already operating in schools in the southern regions. So far, the leader in the number of agro-classes is the Central Federal District, where 295 classes have been created. The North-Caucasus Federal District is in second place with 219 agro-classes, 134 of which are in the Stavropol Krai. The Volga Federal District is in third place with 190 agro-classes.
