The oilseed crop in Russia by the end of October exceeded 29 million tons — Ruseed

This is 4% more than a year earlier. According to the analytical center Ruseed, by the end of October 2025, Russian agrarians had harvested over 29 million tons of oilseed crops. This is 4% higher than the same period last year. The main increase was provided by rapeseed and soybeans. The sunflower harvest was completed on 10 million hectares—this is 82% of the total sown area. 15.1 million tons were harvested with an average yield of 15.2 tons per hectare. The leaders in gross harvest are the Central, Southern, and Volga Federal Districts, accounting for more than 12 million tons of the crop. Record results were shown in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, where the yield exceeded 20 tons per hectare. At the same time, in all subjects of the Ural and Siberian Federal Districts, the yield was higher than last year. Rapeseed was harvested from 2.8 million hectares (91% of the planned area).
