With the aim of strengthening the dairy industry and positioning Peru as a benchmark in high-quality cheese production, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) officially launched the fourth edition of the Peruvian Cheese Show 2026, which will bring together more than 170 producers from all over the country with the presentation of more than 50 varieties of cheese. The event will take place from May 21 to 24 at the Lima Convention Center, with around 200 stalls dedicated to the sale of cheeses. Artisanal cheese makers from regions such as Cajamarca, Arequipa, Amazonas, Puno, Junín, Cusco, La Libertad, Ancash, Huánuco, and Pasco will participate, presenting more than 50 varieties of cheese, differentiated by their aroma, texture, color, and unique characteristics.
