Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the hazelnut purchase prices for 2021 by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), setting the price for Giresun quality hazelnuts at 27 liras per kilogram and levant quality at 26.5 liras per kilogram. Additionally, high-yield hazelnuts will receive a minimum of 1 lira more, and farmers will also receive diesel and fertilizer support of 2 liras per kilogram, resulting in prices ranging from 29.5 liras to 30 liras per kilogram.
