Spain's prices of common wheat, corn and barley registered new increases but half of a week ago and durum wheat and malt barley fell

Wholesale prices of common wheat, corn and barley rose again in the last week, although they practically did so half of what they had risen seven days ago, while durum wheat, malt barley and oats, according to the Spanish Cereals and Oilseeds Trade Association (Accoe). The data released this Monday by Accoe regarding the first week of March reveal what is perceived as the beginning of a possible change in the downward trend, after a start to the year with strong increases in all categories. Thus, they show that the price of common wheat increased 0.13% weekly, to 227.24 euros per ton. The price of barley increased 0.24% compared to the previous week, reaching 194.88 euros / ton, and corn became more expensive by 0.47% in that period, with a price of 232.68 euros /ton. On the contrary, the price of durum wheat suffered a weekly decline of 0.43%, reaching 286.25 euros / ton, and that of malt barley fell 1.50%, with 197.00 euros / ton .
