Turkey: The production area of dragon fruit, which has increased demand from abroad, will also increase

In the Alanya district of Antalya, the production area of the South American origin dragon fruit (pitaya), which has started to receive demand from abroad, is expected to increase from 2 thousand 500 decares to 9 thousand decares in the next 2 years. In addition to high yields, quality products were obtained from the dragon fruit gardens where trial planting was carried out in Alanya with its favorable climate and fertile lands.
