According to Rosstat, the grain and legume harvest in the South this year amounted to 28.2 million tons, which is 12.1% less than last year, reports RBC. In particular, in the Krasnodar Krai, the gross harvest barely exceeded 11 million tons, which is almost 19% lower than last year's figure. The average yield also decreased by a quarter, to 47.3 centners per hectare.
