Exports of these products last year amounted to 20.6 thousand tons; imports - 13.3 thousand tons, which is 41% less than a year earlier (32.3 thousand tons). In 2023, the production of native starches increased mainly due to corn starch, the output of which amounted to more than 328.6 thousand tons, the association noted. Imports of corn starch were at 2.7 thousand tons, which is less than 1% of the total volume. The export of these products amounted to almost 19.7 thousand tons.
