The profitability of growing industrial hemp in Ukraine can reach over 180%

Technical hemp is grown to produce fiber, grain, and straw (hemp straw), and depending on the direction of production, the profitability of cultivation can reach up to 183%. According to research by the Institute of Innovative Bioeconomy, the profitability of technical hemp can reach: As Oleg Primakov, a scientist at the Institute of Bast Crops of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, said, cultivating technical hemp for grain can generate 70-80 thousand UAH per hectare at a cost of 30-40 thousand UAH.
