Kazakhstan: The provision of feed to farmers was discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture

The preparation of feed for wintering livestock was discussed at a meeting of the operational headquarters, which was chaired by the Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amangaliy Berdalin. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the acting Director of the Livestock Department Baglan Aimurzaev, prepared 24.6 million tons of hay, 1.4 million tons of haylage, 1.8 million tons of silage, 4.2 million tons of straw and 4.5 million tons of feed for the wintering of 2023-2024. The total volume of prepared feed of all types, taking into account accumulated reserves over the past year, amounted to 39.9 million tons. Due to the climate situation in the Pavlodar region in the form of drought, farmers were unable to go to haymaking in a timely manner.
