Inarktika, a leader in the commercial fish farming (aquaculture) sector, together with VTsIOM, conducted a nationwide survey on key aspects of fish consumption by Russians in 2024. The study showed that overall, 98% of survey participants consume fish, with every third (34%) consuming it once a week or more often. 67% of respondents eat fish several times a month or more often, while eight out of ten respondents (76%) said they would like to eat fish more often.
