[Agricultural, Fisheries and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] The Chungnam Provincial Agricultural Technology Institute has fully embarked on the implementation of the "2025 Winter Agricultural Disaster Countermeasures" to minimize damage to crops and agricultural and livestock facilities this winter. The response period will be until March 15 of next year, and a full-scale response system will be activated to prepare for sudden weather conditions such as heavy snow and cold waves. The provincial agricultural technology institute has first established a disaster countermeasures situation room to be operated at all times, and has arranged a dense response system that provides technical support and mock drills to vulnerable farms. In particular, 120 locations in 15 cities and counties in the province where heavy snow and cold waves are frequent or are of concern have been newly designated as concentrated management areas, and field inspections are being proactively conducted from the pre-weather alert stage.
