Soybean exports from Ukraine remain relatively active at present, but a slowdown in shipments may be possible by the end of the month. The market is beginning to be influenced by the correction in global quotations. This is reported by the analytical department of the agricultural cooperative PUSК, created within the framework of VAR. "Soybean exports amount to about 200 thousand tons as of December 15. Soybeans are still being shipped quite actively, but it can be expected that by the end of the month, exports will not be as intense," analysts note. The correction on the global market has already affected Ukrainian export prices. "Last week, quotations in the ports mostly did not change or showed a slight decrease, forming in the range of $422–427/t. Meanwhile, domestic processors continue to maintain high purchase prices due to favorable processing margins and actively compete with exporters for raw materials," PUSК explains.
