In addition to standard farms, poultry are raised under various quality procedures: Label Rouge, Bio or CCP (Certification of Product Conformity). The proportion of poultry complying with Red Label, Product or Organic Certification of Conformity specifications represents a quarter of French production. France, Europe's leading outdoor industry Chicken is the first production under specifications, followed by turkey. In 10 years, organically produced chickens have doubled, the Label Rouge has increased by 14% and chicken produced under Product Compliance Certification (CCP) has recorded an increase of 18%. In 2019, 26% of French chickens were raised under a quality approach. The majority are Label Rouge chicken (16%) and chicken under Product Conformity Certification (8%).
