Despite ongoing Russian attacks on port, energy, and railway infrastructure, the Ukrainian maritime corridor continues to operate. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba during a meeting with the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine in the Odesa region. "Despite constant shelling and threats, we maintain the operation of the maritime corridor because we understand our responsibility to countries that depend on Ukrainian grain," he said. According to Kuleba, special attention has been paid to energy resilience in the ports. Backup power sources, cogeneration units, and critical infrastructure upgrades are being installed. "The ports are adapting to operate under energy restrictions and combined attacks—all to ensure the continuity of export operations," Kuleba added.
