The U.S. oil extraction plants processed a record 5.1 million tonnes of soybeans last month, with November 2022 seeing 4.9 million tonnes of oilseeds received. This led to an increase in soybean oil stocks in the country for the first time in 7 months, reaching 0.5 million tonnes. The National Association of Oilseed Processors' report attributes the rise in processing volume to the traditional winter increase after the harvest, with 13 member companies accounting for 95% of the soybean processing market in America.
