In September, the volume of railway transportation of oil for export increased by 28.6%. This was reported during an online meeting of representatives of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" with participants of the agricultural market on September 25, writes Rail.insider.
In 23 days of September, 73 thousand tons of oil were exported. This is 28.6% more than in August, but 10.1% less than in the same period last year.
Of the mentioned amount, the share of exports to ports is 60%, while another 40% of the oil is transported by rail to western border crossings.
The opposite situation is with the transportation of meal and cake. The share of these items transported for export to western border crossings is 60%, and to ports is 40%.
In total, since the beginning of September, almost 91 thousand tons of meal and cake have been transported. The figure is 34.7% less compared to August and 22% less than the same period last year.
As previously reported, in August, the volume of railway transportation of meal and cake for export increased by 18%.
