The water harvesting season has begun in Manisa.

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has provided both irrigation opportunities for producers and water security against forest fires with a pond with a capacity of 35 thousand cubic meters in Malaz Neighborhood of Gördes. It was announced that the pond, which also harvests rainwater and snow in the winter months, will be a lifeline for producers during periods of water scarcity. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, within the scope of rural development investments, has completed and put into service an agricultural irrigation pond with a water retention capacity of 35 thousand cubic meters in Malaz Neighborhood of Gördes district.
