At the beginning of December, 2 batches of sunflowers with a total quantity of 50-60 thousand tons were exported from Argentina, with the first being sent to Portugal and the second to South Africa, according to data from the reputable German company Oil World. Its experts have learned that at the end of December and the beginning of January, the delivery of a third ship is planned, this time for the Black Sea region, although the final destination remains undefined for now. They point out that the activation of sunflower exports from Argentina somewhat alleviates the tension in the international markets and is likely to exert a downward impact on sunflower prices in the short and medium term, which are high due to the poor harvest in major producing countries in the northern hemisphere.
