Korean beverage exports reached a record high of $529 million from January to September of this year, representing a 6.3% increase from the same period last year. China was the largest importer, accounting for 28.5% of the total, followed by the United States, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Hong Kong. The popularity of Korean food and the interest in traditional Korean beverages, such as sikhye, sujeonggwa, and ginseng drinks, contributed to the strong performance of beverage exports.
