Recently, Xin Rong Mao Group and VentureFruit (Wen Ze Fruit) held an authorization ceremony at the 2025 Asia International Fruit and Vegetable Exhibition, where Xin Rong Mao officially obtained the exclusive authorization for planting, selling, and distributing the world's first high-temperature-resistant apple variety, Tutti, in China.
With global climate warming, extreme weather events have become more frequent and unpredictable, posing numerous challenges to traditional apple varieties in maintaining color, smoothness, marketability, and stable yield. To adapt to the high temperatures and humidity in China's main apple-producing regions during summer, Xin Rong Mao Group exclusively introduced the world's first apple variety, Tutti, specifically bred for hot climate conditions.
Tutti is a hybrid of Envy (Scilate variety) and Pacific Queen (Scired variety), developed through 20 years of breeding and research. Its tolerance to high temperatures and humidity is significantly higher than traditional varieties. When grown in hot climates, Tutti apples have a bright red skin, a crisp and refreshing taste, a sweet and juicy flavor. This variety can effectively solve the problem of high summer temperatures in China's main apple-producing areas, where Fuji apples require bagging to grow, further reducing apple cultivation costs and improving planting efficiency. Since its commercial promotion in February 2023, Tutti apples have been planted on over 900 hectares, including locations in Spain, Latin America, China, and the UK.
As the exclusive partner for planting and selling Tutti apples in China, Xin Rong Mao will plant 300 hectares of these apples and sell them in the Chinese market. Since 2019, Xin Rong Mao has been collaborating with VentureFruit, obtaining the planting and sales rights for Envy apples. The orchard is located on the shore of Lugu Lake in Lijiang, Yunnan, and began mass production in 2023.
VentureFruit is an intellectual property management and commercialization company established by T&G Global in 2021, dedicated to providing independent variety management services for plant breeders, variety owners, growers, and sales and marketing companies. It manages numerous well-known varieties, including Jazz (JAZZ), Envy (ENVY), Pacific Rose (PACIFIC ROSE), and Pacific Queen (PACIFIC QUEEN).
