Turkey's hazelnut exports have seen a decline in the first two months of the current season, with a decrease in both the amount exported and the income received compared to the same period in the previous years. In October, 31 thousand 490 tons of hazelnuts were exported, earning 178 million 790 thousand 574 dollars. From September 1 to October 31, 56,662 tons of hazelnuts were exported, bringing in 314 million 938 thousand 169 dollars. This is a decrease from the 68 thousand 726 tons of hazelnuts exported in the same period last year, which fetched 451 million 942,712 dollars, and a decrease from the 58 thousand 118 tons exported in September/October 2020, which brought in 399 million 223 thousand 148 dollars.
