The article analyzes trading platforms in the region for the 30th week of 2024, focusing on trends in the fruit and vegetable markets. Tomatoes and watermelons were top sellers, with increased supplies of white cabbage and onions, while cucumber sales were minimal. Grapes and apples saw rising sales, and price fluctuations were noted, with watermelons and cucumbers becoming more expensive in Ukraine and cheaper in Uzbekistan. Ukraine, Egypt, and Uzbekistan showed increased market activity, while Iran and Kyrgyzstan's participation decreased. In Uzbekistan, prices for early varieties of grapes, nectarines, plums, and other produce declined, while onion prices rose. Egypt saw higher sweet potato prices and new offers for lemons and pomegranates. Southeast Asia's resumption of mandarin imports presents opportunities for Egyptian suppliers. Kyrgyzstan reported prices for various produce, and China plans a logistics hub for Uzbek products. The EastFruit Fruittechnology group's activity remained steady, with packaging being the best-selling item.
