The article highlights a new government initiative that has seen the introduction of insurance policies for the aquaculture industry in Zhongbao Miao Township, Nandan County. These policies, which have been well received by farmers, provide financial protection for pigs, cattle, and sheep. The premiums are reasonably priced, with pigs costing 15 yuan, cows 54 yuan, and sheep 12 yuan. Since the initiative's inception, 1,201 animals have been insured across 156 households. The township plans to enhance disease prevention and control measures and ensure timely compensation for dead animals, thereby mitigating farmers' losses and aiding in the rural revitalization effort.
