ASAJA Cýrdoba has reported a significant increase in olive oil shipments for the first five months of the campaign, with a total of 169,930 tons compared to 135,354 tons in the previous year. Nationally, outputs are projected to reach 147,120 tons, marking the highest monthly figure of this campaign. The pace of marketing is at 130,890 tons, and the total output to date is 785,310. However, if the current rate of production is maintained, the chain will be much shorter with nearly 100,000 tons less than last year. Total stocks are currently 1,215,980 tons, with 895,980 in mills and 285,509 in bottling plants. Provisional data from the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA) shows that the production in the province of Cýrdoba is over 290.00 tons of oil, and the country's accumulated production is 1,475,497 tons. It is expected that world consumption will be above production, which is positively reflected in prices.
