Spanish cucumber imports have seen a significant increase over the past nine years, doubling from 4.96 thousand tons in 2015 to 12.38 thousand tons in 2024. The total value of these imports has also increased from 6.64 million euros in 2015 to 15.89 million euros in 2024. Morocco has become Spain's main trading partner for cucumbers, with an average price of 1.30 euros/kg, and Portugal is the second largest supplier, providing 15.77% of total Spanish imports and a value of 2.13 million euros. Together, Morocco and Portugal provide 91.5% of Spanish cucumber imports.
