The United States is the largest buyer of Panamanian seafood, with exports amounting to $118.3 million, accounting for 15.7% of total exports, while the Netherlands is the primary destination for Panamanian seafood exports in the European Union, with exports amounting to $64.3 million, accounting for 8.5% of total exports. Other significant export destinations include the Colón Free Trade Zone ($56.8 million), Mainland China ($46.6 million), Mexico ($39.2 million), India ($36.7 million), Costa Rica ($30.6 million), Cuba ($20.9 million), and Thailand ($19 million).
