Vietnam: Tien Giang has more than 20,300 hectares of orchards with planting area codes for export

The entire Tien Giang province currently has about 80,000 hectares of orchards with 11 key fruit types; In which the largest area is durian, dragon fruit, pineapple, jackfruit, mango... To date, Tien Giang has been granted 279 growing area codes (MSVT) for fruit trees on a total area of more than 20,300 hectares, including: 71 growing area codes for jackfruit, 78 MSVT dragon fruit, 32 MSVT mango, 12 Star apple MSVT, 5 watermelon MSVT, 3 rambutan MSVT, 2 longan MSVT, 72 durian MSVT, 4 grapefruit MSVT. The largest number of growing area codes granted to the Chinese market is 183, with an area of over 19,150 hectares, with 7 types of crops, including: jackfruit, dragon fruit, mango, watermelon, rambutan, longan and durian. In addition, Tien Giang province has been granted 307 packaging facility codes, of which the Chinese market has 299 codes, and other markets have 8 codes.
