China has a strong affinity for agricultural products from the Russian Federation, according to Boris Titov, Chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Peace, Friendship, and Development. The portfolio of imported products includes vegetables, dairy, meat (pork, poultry, and beef), honey, and chocolate. Russia's agricultural exports to China have been expanding, with a notable increase in pork exports following the acquisition of necessary certifications. Sunflower oil emerges as a high-demand product in China, with Russia poised to become the leading supplier in 2024, as per international analytical company ITC Trade Map.
